International hotel rates plummet (23/03/2010)
Hotel rates in the world’s ten most expensive destinations fell by up to 23% last year – this is according to business travel giants, HRG’s annual Hotel Survey. New York was the biggest loser with average rates plummeting from $414 a night to $319.
The ten most expensive destinations are:

5. Manama (Bahrain)
6. Milan
7. Geneva
8. Copenhagen
9. Washington
10. Athens
