We’ve chosen to support Helen & Douglas House (23/03/2010)
As part of our 20th anniversary celebrations we’ve decided to support a local charity and have chosen Helen & Douglas House – an Oxford based charity that provides respite and end of life care for children and young adults.
The charity needs £4.5m per year to provide support for the children and families in its care – 90% of which comes from voluntary donations.
We’re planning a range of activities to raise money for the hospice throughout the year, and members of the team are also going to be volunteering their own time to support the charity with various activities including collecting items for their local charity shops and helping out at the hospice.
